Department of English

Introduction: The Department came into existence in 2002 with PG Diploma and Certificate course in Proficiency in English.

Presently two subjects namely English Communication Skills and English Literature are taught at under Graduate Level.

Language Lab: The Department has a well equipped Language Lab with latest facilities. It provides good Teaching Learning Activities to enable the students to fulfil the requirements of effective communication. Seminars, Group Discussions on cuurent issues and debates are organized every week. Students also create English Presentation on various topics and present them in english language. These practices enhance their communication skills and confidence level.
