Facilities Available
Apart from traditional teaching-aids, computer-based materials are used and utilized in the lab for the enhancement of all language skills. CD-ROMs and DVDs are utilized on pronunciation, conversations, group discussion and presentations prepared by Cambridge University Press, Oxford University Press, BBC, Orient Longman etc. The Department has been enriched as Hon’ble Dr.Sahab, Chancellor of DSVV inaugurated the newly set and more spacious Linguistics Lab on 17th October, 2009 on the joyful occasion of his 59th birthday. The lab is supplied with modern equipments and conference table with microphones and headphones. The Department has its own LCD projector and many practical and theory classes are conducted through it. The students are taught and given demonstrations
