SPECIALTIES AND FACILITIES:

 1. Psycho-Clinic: The treatment for various Neurotic and Psychotic disorders is provided by the experts and scholars of psychology through diverse psycho-therapies and also alternative therapies like Yog Nidra, Mirror therapy, Acupressure, and Pranic Healing. For the purpose of diagnosis various psychological tests are applied so competently that we have treated about 350 patients successfully so far.

 2. Psycho-Lab- The students are provided appropriate training by the experts in the psycho lab, well equipped with modern apparatus and techniques like GSR Biofeedback, Alpha E.E.G., Pulse- Biofeedback, Respiration Biofeedback, N.C.V. and many tests.

 3. Visiting Faculties- The students are facilitated by the highly informative Seminars and Lectures delivered by the University Professors, Psychologists and Psychiatrists of Mental Hospitals and doctors of India and abroad. The prominent among them are Dr. Shailja Chaturvedi (Psychiatrist, Australia), Dr. Manjula (Psychiatrist, Australia), and Dr. Chinmaya Pandya (Psychiatrist, London), Dr. Rakesh Jain and Dr. Manoj Pande (Mental Hospital, Agra).

 4. Academic-Training-Session- Students receive training for two days in the Mental Hospital. Agra.

 5. Free-Consultation- The students of the university have the facility to consult the psychologists for the diagnosis of their problems free of charges at the Psycho Clinic.

 6. Research-Scholar-Club- The department of Psychology has established Research-Scholar-Club where the experts discuss problems related to research studies and provide guidance.

 OTHER FACILITIES:

 1. Hostel- Dsvv is a residential university with separate hostels for the boys and girls.

2.Computer Lab- A well equipped hi tech Computer lab of 80 computers with facility of Internet browsing and DTP work.

 3. Mess- The Mess named ‘Anandmayi’ provides food to the students.

4.Library- The University owns a library, equipped with required books and some rare scriptures. It also provides the students with the facility to read research magazines along with the various magazines without charging money.

 5.Uniform- It is mandatory for the students to wear Indian dress (Pyzama-Kurta or Dhoti-Kurta for boys and Saree-blouse or Salwar-Kurta for girls).
