Water Resources Conservation & Management
Duration : 6 months
Admission : On the basis of entrance test and personal interview
Eligibility Criteria : Passed from any recognized secondary education board following 10+2 pattern
Age Limit : 30 years. Relaxation upto 5 years can be given to those candidates, who have actively participated in the social work at any recognized institution.
Objectives : Water being one of the precious five elements on which life and nature is based , is crucial for sustainable societal, development and environmental conservation. Due to poor and unscientific harvesting and consumptive practices, availability of this natural resource is in a critical phase culminating in a disastrous situation. Hence, a course on basic and practical aspects of management of water resources and river is imperative.
