Central Library
The University has a well established five storey library building called ‘Aryabhatt Bhawan’ with latest facilities and surrounded by lush green lands and serene ambiance, which caters to the need of the undergraduate and post graduate students, research scholars and the faculty. The library functions on an open access system for the faculty members and the research scholars. But the students have only a limited access. The library remains open from morning till night on all working days.
The college library has a collection of about 25,000 books and 1,000 bound volumes of journals. It subscribes to about 79 international journals in various disciplines of science, sprituality and humanities. Services such as lending of books and journals, reading Halls, reprographic facilities and bibilographic reference and information are rendered by the library. Library also consists of varied collection of books on Philosophy, Human excellence, life-management, Personality development, Autobiographies and vivid other interesting subjects.
The library has subscription of more than 50 magazines and 15 different newspapers and different research journals which are updated every year. Besides all these the library consists of a huge collection of many spiritual as well as ancient literature. Various spiritual magazines such as Kalyan and Akhand Jyoti are collected and provided to the students. The digital collection of ‘Akhand Jyoti’ is also available in the Computer department of the university.
Computerized Library:
The computerization of the library is nearing completion and shortly all standard services like acquisition, searching and lending will be computerized. And the all services of library will be performed by computerized way.
Management of Library:
The Library remains open from 7:30 am till 8:30 pm on all the days. The library is managed by a dedicated team including Librarian and 6 Asst. Librarian. The chief librarian is Dr. Kalpana Gayakwar, who is P.Hd. in Library science.
E-Library:
Recently facility of E-Library has also been started in the Central Library specially for the Research Scholars. E-Journal and E-Books from year 1997-2011 are available along with CDs and Digital Clippings on various subjects. The Library has 5 Computer Systems with a heavy duty Printer.
