Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Global Covenant, an institution of the United Nations. A team, which arrived here at DSVV from School of Oriental and African Studies, was very much impressed by the spiritual and cultural environment of the university. The head of the team, Ed Marcus, met Dr. Chinmay Pandya, the Pro Vice-Chancellor of DSVV. During the meeting, the MOU was signed, which states that the two institutions would work together in a spirit of respect for all religions towards the refutation of the religion-motivated violence as well as would do research oriented and practical works to promote the ideas of humanity. After this harmonious understanding, Dr. Pandya introduced Mr. Marcus to all the courses and objectives of the university. He informed that DSVV is providing academic and practical training in those subjects which help every man to utilize life management and scientific spirituality in their lives, today. DSVV is campaigning on how to make solutions to religious issues through principles of scientific spirituality to reach the common man.
Mr. Marcus was very much influenced by the training which DSVV provides on traditional subjects of Indian Culture. According to him DSVV teaches subjects like Yoga, Ayurveda, Psychology etc. with a unique mixture of their basic concepts and scientific approach which help in the all round development of all students.
