A volunteer of the National Service Scheme from Dev Sanskriti University, Pragya Rajput, has returned from the Chinese International Delegation. A total of 209 participants took part in the delegation from all over India, which involved members from NSS, IIT, IIM and RSS and also important members from Youth and Sports Ministry.
From June 18 to June 25, the students in the delegation visited cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Pingdu, Gonzo, Guolin, etc. According to the volunteer, Pragya Rajput, at Gonzo and Beijing, they were briefed about the techniques of China, also tours were conducted to the Steel Plant and the Vessel Plant. All volunteers were given lectures on cultural relations at Guilin University of Technology. In addition to this the tour to the Cruise Ship and to the Museum was effective.
During the closing ceremony, the volunteers of the two countries exchanged their ideas by presenting cultural dance and drama.
According to the coordinator of the NSS, Dr. Arunesh Parashar, a single student of DSVV was selected from all over the Uttarakhand state. Dr. Chinmay Pandya, the Pro-Vice-Chancellor of DSVV, congratulated all the youths who, through the above delegation, went to China for a mutual exchange of cultures. He congratulated Miss Pragya Rajput for special performance on Yoga day.
Detailing on the year of “Youth Revolution”, Dr. Pranav Pandya, the Hon. Chancellor of DSVV said that in the coming years several teams of students from DSVV would go abroad and play an important role in spreading and promoting the Indian Culture.
