One of the faculty members namely Dr. Sushil Bhadula of Department of Environmental Science, Dev Sanskriti University, honored with Gold medal of Zoological Society of India, during National Seminar at Gurukula Kangri Univerity for his outstanding research work on Ganga River and Fish and Fisheries. Dr. Bhadula presently working as Assistant Professor at Dev Sanskriti University, Haridwar. Dr. Bhadula has published till now 24 research papers in Journals of International and National of high repute. He has attended and contributed his research work in more than 22 conferences and also participated in number of training workshops of International and National level. Dr. Bhadula is editorial secretariat of the Journal of Environment and Biosciences. He is a life member of various academic bodies such as Indian Academy of Environmental Sciences (IAES), Hardwar, Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA), Kolkata, Zoological Society of India (ZSI), Gaya and others. He has been instrumental in celebrating/ organizing events on the World Environmental Day, Wild Life Week and Ozone day in the University every year. He has been conferred Honorary Fellowship by Indian Academy of Environmental Sciences for his great contribution in Hydro-biology, Ichthyofaunal diversity and Himalayan ecology. His work on Limnology and Hydro-biology is being widely cited by various researchers in their research communications. Dr. Bhadula recently attended 10 days training programme on Revitalization of waterways and delivered invited lecture on the Hydro-biology at Kazimeirz Weilki University,Bydgoszcz, Poland. Dr. Bhadula is active member of Nirmal Ganga Abhiyan and gives the credit of his achievements to the Teachings of Patron Founder Pt. Shriram Sharma Acharya.
