Environment Science Faculty Members Honored At National Level For Their Achievements In Research:
Two Young faculty members of Department of Environmental Science, DSVV, Haridwar, namely Dr. Vijay Sharma and Dr. Sushil Bhadula are awarded with National Fellowship Award by Indian Academy of Environmental Science on the occasion of National Seminar on Environmental Issues and Challenges at Devta PG College, Bijnor. This Award is given for the contribution of Dr. Vijay Sharma and Dr. Sushil Bhadula in various streams of Environmental Science such as Limnological Science, Pollution Monitoring and Abatement, Tourism Management, Biodiversity Management, EIA and Ichthyology. Various Eminent Scientists and Environmentalists of the country congratulated both of them for their great achievement in the field of Research.
Dr. Vijay Sharma, who is working as Co-ordinator of Department of Environmental Science and Principal Investigator in a Major Research Project, funded by Department of Science and Technology (Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, New Delhi) under SERB Fast Track Research Scheme has 9 years research experience and till now he has published more than 18 research papers in High Impact Factor journals of international and national repute. He is also founder and President of Society of Environmental Education & Mass Awareness, Haridwar. Dr. Sharma is life member of various National and International scientific organizations and actively contributed his research work in a dozen of International and National Conferences.
Dr. Sushil Bhadula working as Assistant Professor at Department of Environmental Science has published more than 20 research papers in journals of international and national repute. He has attended and contributed his research work in 18 conferences. He is also founder and Joint Secretary of Society of Environmental Education & Mass Awareness, Haridwar. Dr. Bhadula is also assistant editor of the Journal of Environment and Biosciences. He is life member of various scientific bodies such as India Science Congress Association (ISCA), Kolkata, Zoological Society of India (ZSI), Gaya and Society of Environmental Education and Mass Awareness (SEEMA), Haridwar. Dr. Bhadula has successfully supervised four M.Sc students during the dissertation work.
