Adding strength to its achievements Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidalaya has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Integrating Spirituality and Organisational Leadership Research Foundation, ISOLRF. This MOU was sighed by the Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Chinmay Pandya and the founder of the organization Dr. Sunita Singh Sengupta.

Speaking on the strength of this MOU, Dr Chinmay said that with this we could add new aspects of researches in the field of spirituality. This would not only focus on research but it brings symmetry between Vedic values and its applied form in social, educational and political fields.

Focusing on the bright future, Pt. Shriram Sharma Acharya ISOL Research Center on Vedic Foundation of  Indian Management would be established at DSVV campus which would act as a nodal agency, this would help the research scholars working in the field of Sanskrit, Culture, Yoga and Veda to get their research published in international journals.

Dr Sunita congratulated the Institute and said that with this MOU we would be able to present a model based on human values which would bring overall development in personality and would give a new message to the world. Intense studies on Vedas and Puran would explore the new dimensions of management.

एनएसएस कार्यक्रम अधिकारियों के उन्नयन प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम का समापन

राष्ट्रीय सेवा का मशाल बनने को संकल्पित एनएसएस

सम्पन्न, स्वस्थ और प्रदूशण मुक्त राश्ट्र बनाने का लिया संकल्प

हरिद्वार, 29 अप्रैल। देवसंस्कृति विश्वविद्यालय में रविवार का दिन राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना के कार्यक्रम अधिकारियों के लिए अभूतपूर्व और अविस्मरणीय पलों को समाहित किए हुए था। उन्हें छह दिवसीय उन्नयन प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम में राष्ट्र की सेवा करने के लिए नूतन सोच और नई दिशा जो मिल गई थी। उत्साह से लबरेज सभी कार्यक्रम अधिकारियों ने खुद मशाल बनकर अनेक मशाल जलाने का संकल्प लिया।
समापन समारोह के मुख्य अतिथि कुमाऊं विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति डॉ. वीपीएस अरोरा ने कहा कि राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना का सबसे बड़ा दायित्व युवाओं को सही दिशा देना है। यही एनएसएस के कार्यक्रम अधिकारियों की सच्ची राश्ट्रीय सेवा है। आदर्श शिक्षक बनना ही उस शिक्षक की सबसे बड़ी उपलब्धि है। उन्होंने राष्ट्रीय सेवा का अर्थ स्पश्ट करते हुए कहा कि एनएसएस राष्ट्र का ऐसा वातावरण बनाएं, जिसमें हर भारतीय खुद को भारतीय कहने पर गर्व महसूस करे। एनएसएस युवा शक्ति को सही दिशा देकर देश को सम्पन्न, स्वस्थ और प्रदूशण मुक्त बनाएं। डॉ. अरोरा ने मानवता के प्रमुख सूत्रों को स्लाइड शो के माध्यम से प्रस्तुत किया।
कार्यक्रम के अध्यक्ष देसंविवि के कुलपति डॉ. सुखदेव शर्मा ने कहा कि प्रत्येक व्यक्ति के अंदर असीम संभावनाओं का बीज मौजूद है। दिव्य वातावरण में वह बीज अंकुरित, पुश्पित और विकसित हो अपने सत्कर्मों की सुगंध चहूंओर फैला देता है। देसंविवि की पहचान है दिव्य वातावरण। आचार्य पं. श्रीराम शर्मा के अनुसार अपनी आत्मीयता का विस्तार करना ही आध्यात्मिकता है। यही शिक्षा और संदेश एनएसएस के कार्यक्रम अधिकारी लेकर जाएं और मशाल बनकर अनेक मशाल जलाएं।
विशिष्ट अतिथि देसंविवि के प्रति कुलपति डॉ.चिन्मय पण्ड्या ने प्रेरणास्पद कहानी के माध्यम से प्रतिभागियों को इंसानियत अपनाने की सीख दी। उन्होंने कहा कि सही समय पर किया गया सत्संकल्प प्रबल पुरूषार्थ का संबल पाकर उस व्यक्ति को महामानव में परिवर्तित कर देता है। इसी ने बुद्ध, बिल्वमंगल, तुलसीदास जैसे कई साधारण मनुश्यों के जीवन में कायाकल्प कर उन्हें असाधारण बना दिया। अवसर की कीमत समझें। यही दक्षता का उद्घोश है। सेवा, संयम और इंसानियत की भावना हमें औरों से अलग करती है। देशभर में फैले 33 लाख एनएसएस के वॉलंटियर्स यदि चिंगारी बन जाएं तो एक नई क्रांति जन्म ले सकती है।
राज्य संपर्क अधिकारी आनंद सिंह उनियाल ने कहा कि राज्य की समस्याओं का समाधान एनएसएस के माध्यम से करने का प्रयास किया जाएगा। उन्होंने एनएसएस की भावी योजनाओं को रेखांकित किया। आयोजन सचिव डॉ. अतुल जोषी ने छह दिवसीय पकार्यक्रम की रिपोर्ट प्रस्तुत की। इससे पूर्व कार्यक्रम की शुरूआत दीप प्रज्जवल से हुई। ऋषि संस्कृत महाविद्यालय के छात्रों ने स्वागत गीत प्रस्तुत किया। अतिथियों को देसंविवि का स्मृति चिंह्न, आचार्यश्री का साहित्य भेंटकर और गायत्री मंत्र की चादर ओढ़ाकर सम्मानित किया गया। कार्यक्रम का संचालन देसंविवि के अरूणेष पाराषर ने किया।

हरिद्वार 25 अप्रैल। युवाओं को सुगढ़ एवं स्वावलम्बी युवा बनाने के लिए संकल्पित देवसंस्कृति विवि की ख्याति अब देश-विदेश में फैल रहा है। यही कारण है कि अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर विख्यात व अनेक इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेज, लॉ कॉलेज, मेडिकल कॉलेज आदि विवि अपने विद्यार्थियों में जीवन विद्या के आलोक व भारतीय संस्कृति के गुण जगाने के लिए देसंविवि के प्रतिनिधियों को आमंत्रित करते हैं। ऐसे ही एक मौके पर बतौर मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में देवसंस्कृति विवि के युवा प्रतिकुलपति डॉ. चिन्मय पण्ड्या को सिम्बायसिस इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ बिजनेस मैनेजमेंट की ईकाई साधना सेंटर फार मैनेजमेंट एंड लीडरशिप डेवलेपमेंट पुणे महाराष्ट्र के 7वें बैच के दीक्षान्त समारोह में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में आमंत्रित किया था।

पुणे से लौटने के अपने अनुभव को ‘हिन्दुस्तान’ के साथ बाँटते हुए प्रतिकुलपति डॉ. चिन्मय ने विद्यार्थियों के सफलता प्राप्त करने के लिए संभावनाएँ एवं अवसर को प्रमुख बताया। उन्होंने बताया कि आज के विद्यार्थी के अंदर भाव संवेदना से ओतप्रोत होने के साथ बाहरी परिस्थितियों से लड़ने की सामर्थ्य भी होनी चाहिए। आज 5 किमी के परिधि में कई-कई कॉलेज चल रहे हैं। ऐसे जगहों पर शिक्षण संस्थाएँ जीवन को सफल बनाने के लिए नहीं, मात्र डिग्री बॉटने के लिए संचालित हो रहे हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि आज जो तथाकथित लोग विकास की बातें करते हैं, पर वह कुछ और नहीं, बल्कि अपने मूलभूत संस्कारों और मानवता को खोकर पाये हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि पहले शिक्षण तंत्र का कार्यभार वशिष्ठï एवं विश्वामित्र जैसे लोकसेवी ऋषियों के हाथ हुआ करता था, पर आज का शिक्षण तंत्र व्यवसाय का रूप धारण कर लिया है। प्रतिकुलपति ने स्नातक एवं स्नातकोत्तर युवाओं को डिग्री प्राप्त करने के बाद सार्थक कार्य करने के लिए कहा जिससे अभिभावक, महाविद्यालय, समाज और राष्ट्र का नाम रोशन हो। उन्होंने सभी विद्यार्थियों, अतिथियों एवं सिम्बायसिस के अधिकारियों-कर्मचारियों को देव संस्कृति विश्वविद्यालय में शिक्षण तंत्र को देखने का भावभरा आमंत्रण भी दिया। जिसे सभी ने स्वीकार किया।
डॉ. चिन्मय पण्ड्या ने सभी विद्यार्थियों एवं संस्थान के अधिकारियों एवं कर्मचारियों के विविध शंकाओं का समाधान भी किया। इस मौके पर संस्थान के संस्थापक निदेशक श्री एमएस पिल्लै, फार्मरली डायरेक्टर सीबीआई डीआर कार्तिकेयन, डायरेक्टर जनरल एनएचआरसी एयरमार्शल अशोक गोयल, संस्थापक एवं डायरेक्टर जेनेसिस फिल्म प्रोडक्शन प्रहलाद कक्कड़ सहित अनेक जाने माने गणमान्य लोग उपस्थित थे।

नौ देशों के ३०० प्रतिभागियों ने पेपर्स प्रस्तुत किए

खुशी, दिव्यता और मानवता की राह हमारे अंदर है । चेतना के अंतरतम् में दिव्य प्रकाश विद्यमान है, जो भौतिक और आध्यात्मिक उन्नति का मार्ग प्रशस्त करता है । हम सबके लक्ष्य एक हैं । वेद और विचार-क्रांति के माध्यम से इसकी प्राप्ति अवश्यम्भावी है । यही राह अखिल विश्व गायत्री परिवार के संस्थापक एवं इस युग के ऋषि, द्रष्टा, वेदमूर्ति, तपोनिष्ठ, पं० श्रीराम शर्मा आचार्य ने दिखाई । यह विचार देव संस्कृति विश्वविद्यालय के उपकुलपति डॉ. चिन्मय पण्ड्या ने देव संस्कृति विवविद्यालय में ” वेद और विचार-क्रांति ” विषय पर आयोजित चार दिवसीय अंतर्राष्ट्रीय कॉन्फ्रेंस के समापन समारोह में व्यक्त किए ।

देव संस्कृति विश्वविद्यालय, वेव्स इंटरनेशनल और वेव्स इंडिया की ओर से आयोजित समारोह की अध्यक्षता करते हुए उपकुलपति डॉ. चिन्मय पण्ड्या ने कहा कि ऐसे कार्यक्रम नए रिश्तों की शुरूआत के साथ उसकी खुशबू को पूरे विश्व में फैलाने में अहम भूमिका निभाते हैं । वैदिक संदेश को प्रसारित करने का यह महत्वपूर्ण माध्यम है । वेव्स इंटरनेशनल यूएसए के प्रो०बलराम सिंह ने समापन समारोह को आशीर्वाद समारोह करने की सलाह दी और कहा कि यह अनवरत चलने वाला प्रवाह है । ऐसे आयोजन से पूर्व और पश्चिम की संस्कृति का मिलन होता है, जिससे उपजी नई सोच विश्व को नई दिशा देती है । शंकराचार्य विश्वविद्यालय, केरला के प्रो.पी.सी मुरलीमाधवन ने देव संस्कृति विश्वविद्यालय में मिले दिव्य अनुभवों को व्यापकता प्रदान करने पर जोर दिया । उन्होंने कहा कि वैदिक विचार आज भी प्रासंगिक हैं ।

देव संस्कृति विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति प्रो०सुखदेव शर्मा ने कहा कि वेद विश्व की धरोहर है । इस पर सबका समान रूप से अधिकार है । वेदों का प्रेरक संदेश पूरा विश्व ग्रहण करे । इसी उद्देश्य से यह कार्यक्रम सम्पन्न हुआ । वैदिक ज्ञान मंथन के प्रवाह को निरंतरता प्रदान करना इस आयोजन की एक अहम उपलब्धि रही । यह यात्रा अनेकता में एकता का संदेश लेकर चलती रहे, तभी ऐसे कॉन्फ्रेन्स की सार्थकता सिद्ध हो पाएगी । उत्तराखण्ड संस्कृत एकेडमी के वाइस प्रेसीडेंट प्रो०महावीर अग्रवाल ने वेद रूपी सागर के १४ रत्नों को जीवन में धारण करने की प्रेरणा दी । उन्होंने कहा कि वेदों के प्रति अगाध निष्ठा, माता-पिता, गुरु, जन्मभूमि का सम्मान, यज्ञीय-जीवन, सदाचार, मित्रदृष्टि जैसे रत्नों को पहन अपने व्यक्तित्व को आलोकित करें और दूसरों को भी प्रकाशित करें । देव संस्कृति विश्वविद्यालय के रजिस्ट्रार संदीप कुमार ने वेदों से आत्मोन्नति की शिक्षा आत्मसात करने की प्रेरणा दी ।

वेव्स इंटरनेशनल के संस्थापक अध्यक्ष प्रो०भूदेव शर्मा ने लेख प्रतियोगिताओं को पुरस्कृत किया| उमेश कुमार ने चार दिवसीय कॉन्फ्रेन्स की रिपोर्ट पेश की । इससे पूर्व कार्यक्रम का शुभारम्भ दीप प्रज्ज्वलन से हुआ । देव संस्कृति विश्वविद्यालय के छात्र-छात्राओं ने वैदिक संदेश से ओत-प्रोत प्रज्ञा-गीत की प्रस्तुति दी । अंत में वेव्स इंडिया की महासचिव डॉ०शशि तिवारी ने आभार जताया । भारत सहित नौ देशों से आए प्रतिभागियों ने शुक्रवार की शाम महाकाल-मंदिर में दीपयज्ञ में भागीदारी निभाई और यज्ञीय-जीवन का मर्म समझा ।

Sanskriti Sanchar (News Bulletin of Dept. of Journalism & Mass Communication) special on ICCS Conference

Day 1: Inaugral session

4th March, 2012

4th International Conference and gathering of the elders started at Dev Sanskriti University (DSVV) Haridwar, Uttrakhand, India in Collaboration with the International Centre for Cultural Studies (ICCS).

About 250 participants across the Globe from more than 33 countries gathered here. The inauguration started with the lightening of the lamp by HH Swami Dayananda Sarswaty. Inaugrating the programme Dr. Radheshyam Dwivedi, the organizer of the programme called it as a special event saturated with the feeling of ‘Vasudhev kutumbkam’. Prayers of about 20 different religions and traditions were conducted by Shree Ram Vaidya.

The representatives from traditions of Maya, Pagans of Hungary, Kyrgyzstan and Poland, Native Americans from Canada & USA, Maori from New Zealand, Druid from UK, Japies from Japan, Romuva & Ramava from Lithuania and Latvia, Buddhist from Myanmar and Tibet, Cham from Vietnam, and Hindus from Nepal, Bali and South Africa, Adi and Idu Mishmi from Arunanchal Pradesh, native of Ghana  presented their respective prayers and charged the audience with a spirit of Devotion and wonder. Language could not be the barrier in transmitting the message of love, devotion and peace.

Expressing the theme of the conference representative of ICCS Mr. Saumitra Gokhale called the conference to be more than an academic one, a family reunion after 3 years. He stressed that there is no need to convert or dominate other cultures or religions; instead there is need of genuine respect and appreciation for each other, feeling of oneness. The main theme of the program is to promote universal brotherhood and preserve their indigenous culture and traditions which are at the verge of extinction and to preserve for the coming generations.

Distinguished guest Swami Dayanand Saraswati founder of Arsha Vidya Gurukul and the authority on Vedanta called it very inspiring to see so many human expressions of devotion to lord. SwamiJi wondered why some people come here to destroy. Violence against culture is against the basic code of humanity. When born all is given to flourish, which is to be protected and nourished. We are all managing trustee of colorful culture to enrich humanity. It is only in India that even the intruders are given shelter. He urged for non violent approach towards humanity and regular need of meeting for cultural unification. He called all to be as they are and enjoy as they are and nurture each other.

In his Presidential address Dr Pranav Pandya, Chancellor DSVV said that there has been much bloodshed during last decade due to various kinds of differences.  Conferences like this focused on the unity of various traditions and cultures can be the effective solution in this direction. He described this year to be very special one for Sun worship. Gayatri mantra with deity Sun being the giver of righteous knowledge is the key to nourish the balance.

On the occasion VC Dr. SD Sharma, Registrar Sandeep Kumar, Pro VC Dr. Chinmay Pandya, UK Vidhan Sabha Chairman Haribans Kapur, Mr. Vinod Chamoli Mayor Dehradun and Suresh Soni were also present. A souvenir was also released on the occasion.

Day 4 : Valedictory session

7th March, 2012

Valedictory session started with lightning of lamp by Dr. Pranav Pandya and RSS President Mohan Bhagwat as a chief guest. Shyam Parande welcomed all the delegates and said that diversity has impaled the community. He appreciated the divine ambience of Dev Sanskrit Vishwavidyalya, and also emphasize on creating awareness in our self; then only can we nourish the balance of universe. He has expressed the opportunity of organizing the next international gathering in the south India. After that Pragya geet was presented by the student of Dev Sanskriti Vishvawavidyalya.

“This is the gathering of elders. It doesn’t mean by age alone but by thoughts also. Some Young dynamites are working for the cause of Traditions. They are also the elders – Dynamic elders.” said Shoumitre Gokhle and invited the five such representatives  on the stage. First Inra Chaka, Katrina, Leila and many more

Inra Chaka said when people ask me that Chaka what you do? Then I reply that I am a dreamer, today I came here in India because I dreamt for India when I was young. When I grew up I started to see society in which we don’t treat everyone equally, in India guests are treated as god. Today we are forgetting our rituals traditions and practices. Language is the means of communication and the beauty of languages should be preserved because it deserves it. He was very thankful to the conference and said that this conference has made his dream come true. Versatile in his approach, he said he was doing just everything to realize his dream. Leila from USA recited the poem full of feeling and emotions about the non existence of the different country without boundaries. She said that we have drawn the boundaries of the country, we are not different but we are same. At last she said that don’t call me American because I am human.

Chancellor of  Dev Sanskrit Vishwavidyalya Dr. Pranav Pandya greeted the foreign delegates and said with his Conference at Dev Sanskrit Vishwavidyalya University a new era of Revival of ancient traditions of the World has triggered. It will add a new chapter in the calendar of humanity. He said that whole universe is united in a single culture and message from all the country is same that is the message of love, compensation and sympathy. Peace is the ultimate goal of all prayer, because peace has only one colure that is white. When seven colures merge, together they form one white color. And at last the programme was concluded by RSS President Mohanji Bhagwat. He congratulated all for the courage for   their tradition. He said that this conference on “Nourishing the Balance of universe” is a new beginning. Today world is suffering from grave misbalance of the nature; therefore world has started looking at the ancient traditions. He also emphasized to know one’s tradition and live it.

At last 5 elders were awarded Doctorate of Philosophy for their contribution over the preservation and promotion of the ancient traditions they represent. Following PhDs were awarded by Mohanji Bhagwat and Dr. Pranav Pandya.

Day 6 : 16th Feb 2012

International workshop on “Yog, Ayurveda and Vedic culture” concluded with “Punaragamay cha”

Five day international workshop conducted by DSVV between 11th to 16th Feb 2012 on “Yog, Ayurveda and Vedic culture” concluded on Friday with due fanfare. All guests and foreign participants were given heartfelt farewell in University’s Mrityunjaya Auditorium. The farewell ceremony was attended by Swami Ganeshanand as the head of foreign delegation, along with Dr. Alfred Lorio, Dr. Laura Pario and Dr. Fabian. (Note that Swami Ganeshanand runs a successful Yoga School in Argentina while Dr. Fabian is an accomplished Ayurveda therapist)

From DSVV side conclusion ceremony was headed by our Chancellor Dr. Pranav Pandya along with Vice Chancellor Dr. Sukhdev Sharma, Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Chinmay Pandya and Registrar Mr. Sandeep Kumar. All foreign dignitaries were honored with Bouquets, cloak embossed with Gayatri mantra and anant-garde Literature of DSVV founding patron and Saint Pt. Shir Ram Sharma Acharya.

During the conclusion ceremony Dr Alfredo said that he has not only seen Yoga in DSVV but has deeply felt it in the surroundings and has imbibed it along with the associated rich practical spirituality. He said that today 100 Argentinian hearts have been entwined with Indian the hearts. Enamoured with gratitude and affections towards DSVV students and faculty, Dr Alfredo hugged Pro Vice Chancellor and the Registrar. While all foreign guests enamoured with Indian culture sang songs in their languages and showed their gratitude.

In the last phase of the ceremony Chancellor Dr Pranav Pandya said that Yoga is but art of living. By inculcating Yoga in our daily lives we can ensure success in all our endeavours. While describing Swan as a symbol of Wisdom in imagiry of Gayatri he exhorted all to live life with wisdom. This year being the year of Solar Penance (Saurya Sadhana), Dr. Pandya gave practical knowledge of Solar Penance (Saurya Sadhana) and appealed to all attendees to include solar prayer (Suryopasana) in everyone’s daily routine.

Rising to the occasion Pro Chancellor also addressed to the attendees and said that the best things in life cannot be written or spoken but can only be felt. Not surprisingly all of us have felt the same way during this 5 day workshop. The healthy body, pure mind and cultured society that is required for a brighter future as envisioned by our patron saint Pt. Shriram Sharma Acharya has been achieved by this workshop through Ayurveda, Yoga and knowledge dissemination of Vedic culture. Vice Chancellor Dr Sharma extended warm invitation to foreign dignitaries of visiting again the DSVV campus with the Sanskrit phrase “Punaragamanaya Cha”

In the end Chancellor handed over the certificates to all attendees and Conveyer Mr. Yatindra Amoli along with Arunesh, Umakant, Subhash Kashyap, Ashwini, Ashutosh were honored with certificates for providing invaluable support towards successful completion of the workshop

देव संस्कृति विश्वविद्यालय में “ योग, आयुर्वेद तथा वैदिक-संस्कृति “ विषय पर ११ से १६ फरवरी के बीच आयोजित पाँच-दिवसीय अंतर्राष्टीय-कार्यशाला का गुरुवार को विधिवत समापन हुआ । विश्वविद्यालय के मृत्युंजय सभागार में आयोजित भव्य समारोह में उपस्थित विदेशी अतिथियों को भावभीनी विदाई दी गई । समापन व विदाई समारोह में विदेशी दल के प्रमुख स्वामी गणेशानंद ( होरलो वेदान्तो ) के साथ डॉ. अल्फ्रडो लारिया, डॉ. लारा पारियो तथा डॉ. फाबियान मंचासीन थे । ज्ञात हो कि स्वामी गणेशानंद अजेन्टीना में योग विद्यालय चलाते हैं । वहीं डॉ. फाबियान एक कुशल आयुर्वेदाचार्य हैं । अतिथियों को स्नेह प्यार देने के लिए स्वयं कुलाधिपति डॉ. प्रणव पण्ड्या उपस्थित थे । उनके साथ कुलपति डॉ. सुखदेव शर्मा, प्रतिकुलपति डॉ. चिन्मय पण्ड्या तथा कुलसचिव श्री संदीप कुमार उपस्थित थे । मंचासीन सभी विदेशी प्रतिनिधियों को पुष्प-गुच्छ के साथ युगऋषि वेदमूर्ति तपोनिष्ट पं. श्रीरामशर्मा आचार्य जी द्वारा रचित युगसाहित्य तथा गायत्री मंत्र-चादर देकर सम्मानित किया गया ।

भावाभिव्यक्ति के क्रम में डॉ. अल्फ्रेडो ने बताया कि हमने इस जगह पर योग को देखा ही नहीं अपितु गहराई से महसूस भी किया तथा व्यवहारिक अध्यात्म की शिक्षा पाई । उन्होने बताया कि आज १०० अर्जेन्टीना दिल भारतीय दिलों में समाहित हुए । विश्वविद्यालय के छात्रों सहित सभी सदस्यों को धन्यवाद ज्ञापित करते हुए उन्होने डॉ. चिन्मय तथा संदीप को गले से लगा लिया । कुलसचिव श्री संदीप कुमार अपने उदगार व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि आज दिलों की भाषा को समझने की आवश्यकता है, जिसमें विभिन्न संस्कृतियों का आपसी मिलन एक शुभ संकेत है ।

कार्यक्रम के अंतिम चरण में कुलाधिपति डॉ. प्रणव पण्ड्या ने अपने उदबोधन में कहा कि योग एक जीवन जीने की कला है । यदि योगयुक्त जीवन अपनाया जाए तो सभी कार्यों में सफलता अवश्यंभावी है । गायत्री की प्रतिमा की दाशर्निक विवेचना करते हुए उन्होने सभी से हंस के समान विवेकयुक्त जीवन जीने की अपील की । चूँकि यह वर्ष सौर साधना का वर्ष है अतः डॉ. पण्ड्या ने प्रतिभागियों को सौर साधना का व्यवहारिक प्रशिक्षण देते हुए प्रतिदिन अपने दिनचर्या में सूर्योपासना शामिल करने को अपील की ।

प्रतिभागियों को सम्बोधित करते हुये प्रतिकुलपति डाँ चिन्मय पण्ड्या जी ने कहा, जीवन की सबसे बेहतरीन चीजे लिखी या बोली नही जा सकती, उन्हे केवल अनुभव किया जा सकता है । कार्यशाला के इन पांच दिनों में हम सब का कुछ ऐसा ही अनुभव रहा है । परम् पूज्य गुरूदेव पं.श्रीरामशर्मा आचार्य जी ने उज्ज्वल भविष्य के लिये जिस स्वस्थ शरीर, स्वच्छ मन और सभ्य समाज की परिकल्पना की थी, इस कार्यशाला मे आयुर्वेद, योग एवं वैदिक संस्कृति के माध्यम से ये कार्य सम्पन्न हुआ है । कुलपति डॉ. शर्मा ने विदेशी मेहमानों को ” पुनरागमनाय च! ” कहते हुए पुनः आगमन हेतु भावभरा आमंत्रण दिया ।

कुलाधिपति डॉ. पण्ड्या ने सभी प्रतिभागियों को प्रमाण-पत्र प्रदान किया । भारतीय संस्कृति की गौरव गरिमा से अभिभूत सभी विदेशी मेहमान अपनी भाषा में गीत गाकर झूम रहे थे । कार्यक्रम के अंत में कार्यशाला को सफलता पूर्वक सम्पन्न कराने में उत्कृष्ट सहयोग हेतु कार्यक्रम समन्वयक श्री यतीन्द्र अमोली तथा उनके सहयोगी अरूणेश, उमाकान्त, सुभाष कश्यप, अश्विनी, आशुतोष जी को भी प्रमाण-पत्र देकर सम्मानित किया गया ।

Nature cure, a way to Holistic healing

Experts gave very practical knowledge of naturopathy which is one of the most ancient Indian system of medicine. In this particular session, more than one hundred people from Argentina learnt about Mud therapy, Water therapy, Sun therapy etc which are capable of curing diseases without having any side effects. Addressing the session Dr. Amrit Lal Guruvendu said, “Nature cure is cure by nature, it eliminates the disease by root and increases vitality, as well. It doesn’t have any side effect on the person undergoing nature cure, therefore it must be adopted and promoted on a large scale for the Holistic well being of the human being. Now that today human being is suffering from several physical and mental disorders nature cure is the panacea for such diseases. And it of course, is a way to Holistic healing.”

Holistic health management: need of the day

A presentation on holistic health management was organized which was given by Dr. Alka Mishra, a lecture in the Department of HMM, DSVV. Addressing the session she said, “Health is one of the most important factor in the life of a person, it shouldn’t be ignored at all.” “According to Ayurved, holistic health refers to the overall well being of the physical, mental, social and spiritual aspects of a person. It is the Indian system of life which includes yog, ayurved, yagya and nature cure which paves the way for the holistic healing of the person”, she said. “Ayurved is the oldest Indian system of medicine which teaches us how to have harmony between body, mind and spirit. Yog is the way of self purification finally paving the way for the union of the individual soul with the universal soul. Yagya depicts highest degree of selfless service, she explained. She also threw light on the importance and application of naturopathy and yagopathy. She said, “Herbal remedies help a lot in one’s healing, and increases one’s immunity as well.” Observance of ethical values under yama and niyama in our day to day life, regular practice of Asana, Pranayama, meditation, prayer, yagya and chanting mantra and living in the lap of nature etc. are the complete package for holistic health i.e. paving the way for our physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual well being,” she remarked.

The Deep Yagya Evening

On the fifth evening of International Yog, Vedic Culture and Ayurved Workshop, a Deep Yagya was organized in the mahakaal temple of Dev Sanskriti University campus. The chief of the program was Dr Chinmay Pandya. The atmosphere was filled with the holy chants of the divine Gayatri mantra and diyas were been enlighted to make the end of the fifth day of the program. The guest from Argentina, DSVV staff and students marked their presence for the eve. Pragya songs was sung and the guests were overwhelmed by it. The temple looked very beautiful in the lights of diyas and enlighted faces of the delegates. Prayers were been offered for world peace and harmony and for eradication of evils in the form of corruption and terrorism. In the end “Prasad” was distributed in the form of halwa.

दीप यज्ञ में शिरकत करते विदेशी प्रतिभागी

देव संस्कृति विश्वविद्यालय में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग, वैदिक-संस्कृति एवं आयुर्वेद के पांचवे दिन दीप यज्ञ का आयोजन हुआ, जिसमें अर्जेन्टीना से आए हुए प्रतिभागियों सहित विश्वविद्यालय के छात्र-छात्राओं ने दीपयज्ञ समारोह में शिरकत की ।

कार्यशाला के पांचवे दिन महाकाल मंदिर में सांयकाल दीपयज्ञ का आयोजन किया गया, जिसमें मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में प्रतिकुलपति डा. चिन्मय पण्ड्या उपस्थित थे । इस दीपयज्ञ में विदेशी प्रतिभागियों के बीच वैदिक कर्मकाण्डों के साथ आहुतियां प्रदान की गईं । भावनात्मक आहुतियों के बीच दीप यज्ञ में सर्वसमर्थ सत्ता से वैश्विक शान्ति तथा सुख-समृद्धि की प्रार्थना की गई । कार्यक्रम का संचालन विश्वविद्यालय के हीं छात्र-छात्राओं के द्वारा अतिकुशल तरीके से किया गया ।

बीच-बीच में गाए जा रहे प्रज्ञा गीतों से सभी प्रतिभागी झूम उठे । उनके बीच भावों के संचार में भाषा अवरोध बनकर खड़ा नहीं हुआ । अर्जेंटीना से आए दल प्रमुख स्वामी गणेशानन्द भी गीतों एवं मंत्रों को दोहरा रहे थे । वैश्विक शांति के प्रार्थना के समय कई प्रतिभागियों की आंखें छलछला उठीं । यह सहज ही भावों के संचार का अनोखा उदाहरण था ।

संचालन टीम के द्वारा पूरा कार्यक्रम विधिवत रूप से हुआ, जिसमें कार्यक्रम समन्वयक यतेन्द्रनाथ अमोली अपने सहयोगी टीम के साथ उपस्थित रहे । शांतिपाठ और प्रसाद वितरण के साथ कार्यक्रम का समापन हुआ ।

Day 4 : 14th Feb 2012

Cultural Evening

On the eve of 14th Feb, the delegates were presented with the bouquet of Indian Traditions and Culture.

On the 4th day of International workshop on Yoga, Vedic Culture and Ayurveda the environment was filled with an awesome presentations by the students of DSVV which included the traditional dance from Tamil nadu in the way of unity and integration. The programme began with a motivational song named “ Chal Chal Chal O Sathi Chal “ and a spiritual song “ Ek Tumhi Aadhar Sadguru “ , besides these songs the participants viewed the life of Pt.Shriram Sharma Acharya in the form of a documentary which shared a message i.e “ If we transform ourselves, the whole world will be transformed” shown with the involvement of other saints like Ram Krishna Parmahansa, Shri Arvind, Swami Vivekanand etc. A beautiful dance performance on “ Hum Hindustani Hain “ filled the spirit of patriotism among the viewers. The evening lamps were enlightened by Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Chinmay Pandya who added sparkle with his vibrant words.

Day 3 : 13th Feb 2012

The 3rd day of workshop saw active participation of not only foreign participants but also students and faculty of DSVV. Yoga was the focus on the 3rd day in which various activities around Yoga were held in DSVV campus. The day opened with Aseem Kulshreshta holding discourse on basic tenets of Yoga while Yatendra Amoli covered history of Yoga from Patanjali’s ancient Yoga Sutras till modern day practices.

Dr. Kamakya Kumar conducted session on preliminary tenets of Yogapathy (Treatment through Yoga) and gave practical training on the techniques involved. Later on Mrs Vandana Shrivastava held discourse on various practices of Yagyopathy (Treatment through Yagyas). In the last phase Mr Sandeep Kumar held detailed discourse on meaning of Gayatri Mantra and held practice session on the correct recital of Gayatri Mantra.

देव संस्कृति विश्वविद्यालय में आयोजित कार्याशाला के तीसरे दिन के चरण में विभिन्न प्रकार की गतिविधियों का आयोजन किया गया । कार्यशाला का तीसरा चरण मुख्य रुप से योग पर आधारित रहा । जिसमें असीम कुलश्रेष्ठ द्वारा योग के मूल भूत स़िद्धांतों पर, यतेंद्र अमोली के द्वारा पंतजलि योग सूत्र के प्रारंभिक इतिहास से लेकर आधुनिक समय तक की पूर्ण रुप से जानकारी दी गई ।

कार्यशाला के तीसरे दिन डा. कामाख्या कुमार के द्वारा योग चिकित्सा पर प्रारंभिक सिद्धांत एवं पद्धति पर जानकारी देते हुए योग थेरेपी पर योगाभ्यास भी करवाया गया । श्रीमती वन्दना श्रीवास्तव द्वारा यज्ञ चिकित्सा के विभिन्न प्रकार की पद्धतियों की जानकारी दी गई । कार्यशाला के तीसरे दिवस के अंतिम चरण में कुलसचिव संदीप कुमार द्वारा गायत्री मंत्र पर अर्थ व उच्चारण का अभ्यास कराते हुए विस्तृत रूप से जानकारी दी गई । इस कार्यशाला में आए विदेशी प्रतिभागियों के साथ, देव संस्कृति विश्वविद्यालय के आचार्यगण व विद्यार्थियों ने इसमें बढ़-चढ़कर भाग लिया ।

Day 1 : 11th Feb 2012

Confluence of Yoga, Vedic culture and Ayurveda witnessed huge participation from foreign countries.

5 Day workshop on Yoga, Vedic culture and Ayurveda is being held on DSVV campus. The workshop has already reached 100 number mark and is witnessing huge participation from at least 8 nations including Argentina, Japan, Canada and Chile. All attendees are given a warm traditional Indian welcome with Tilak and flower petals shower. The excitement among attendees is conspicuous as they enter the guest house decorated with fragrant flowers. They keep doing jigs of dance and throwing jugs of laughter as they enter in the guest house.

Attendees will practice Yoga and attend NadYog regularly during the 5 day workshop. Indian food from Ma Anadamayi Bhojanalaya will be served to them during the course of the workshop. In the day log sessions the attendees will be trained in the various facets of Yoga by the resident Yoga experts. All discourses will be held in Mrityunjaya Auditorium.

Pro Chancellor and Director of Yoga and Health department Dr Chinmaya Pandya described this workshop as a landmark event in establishing Indian culture world over. The attendees will train people in their home countries and help spread a healthy way of living. The Program Conveyor Mr. Yateendra Amoli who is also the spokesperson of Yoga Department informed us that out of the 100 attendees 90 are women. Thus this workshop will also help in our goal of women empowerment. The workshop will be conducted till 16th Feb 2012.

विदेशी करेंगे योग, वैदिक संस्कृति एवं आर्युवेद की त्रिवेणी में स्नान

देव संस्कृति विश्वविद्यालय, हरिद्वार में पाँच दिवसीय योग विषयक कार्यशाला प्रारंभ हो रही है। कार्यशाला में प्रतिभागी के रूप में अर्जेन्टीना सहित कुल आठ देशों के लोगों का आगमन हो चुका है । १०० सदस्यीय इस टीम में अर्जेन्टीना के साथ-साथ जापान, कनाडा, चेकोस्लाविया तथा चीली के प्रतिभागी शामिल है । विश्वविद्यालय परिसर में छात्र-छात्राओं द्वारा विशुद्ध भारतीय परंपरा में चंदन तिलक व अक्षत- पुष्प वर्षा के साथ विदेशी मेहमानों का जोरदार स्वागत किया गया । सुगंधित फूलों से सजे तोरण द्वार के बीच अतिथि गृह में प्रवेश करते वक्त सभी मेहमानों में एक उल्लास व उत्साह स्पष्ट दिख रहा था । अपने आपसी चर्चा में ये नृत्य करके तथा प्रफुल्लित होकर अपनी खुशी का इजहार कर रहे थे ।

कार्यशाला के विदेशी मेहमान विश्वविद्यालय परिसर में नियमित रूप से योगाभ्यास करेंगे तथा सायंकालिन नादयोग साधना में शामिल होंगे । माँ आनन्दमयी भोजनालय में भारतीय भोजन ही इनका आहार रहेगा । तकरीबन सारे दिन चलने वाले सत्रों में विद्वान योग विशेषज्ञों द्वारा इन्हें योग के विविध सूत्रों से रूबरू कराया जाएगा । समस्त कक्षायें मृत्युंजय सभागार मे सम्पन्न होगा ।

प्रतिकुलपति सह निदेशक योग एवं स्वास्थ्य विभाग डॉ. चिन्मय पण्ड्या ने बताया कि यह कार्यशाला भारतीय संस्कृति की पताका विभिन्न देशों में लहराने वाली सिद्ध होगी । आगत मेहमान अपने-अपने गृहक्षेत्र में अन्य लोगों को योग सिखायेंगे तथा स्वस्थ जीवन शैली अपनाने के लिए प्रेरित करेंगे । कार्यक्रम समन्वयक श्री यतीन्द्र अमोली प्रवक्ता योग विभाग ने बताया कि इस कार्यशाला में ९० संख्या महिलाओं की है जो कि नारी संस्कृति के उत्थान का भी परिचायक है । यह कार्यशाला दिनांक १६ फरवरी २०१२ तक चलेगी ।

Inter-university Yoga competition was organized by Kurushetra university between 18 to 21st February in Kurushetra. As many as 45 Universities participated in the competition under male and female category. DSVV also participated in the event under the able guidance of Team manager Dr. Amrut Gurvendra and Team coach Dr. Sunil Kumar and Dr. Bhavana Shirvastava.

In this competition, DSVV’s men’s team has won third prize in male category and the women’s team has won sixth prize in female category. Our university’s esteemed Chancellor and honorable Shail Didi has congratulated and sent blessings to the winning team.

अन्तर विश्वविवि योग प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन कुरुक्षेत्र विवि कुरुक्षेत्र में १८ से २१ फरवरी २०१२ को किया गया, जिसमें ४५ विश्वविघालयों के पुरुष व महिला वर्ग के प्रतिभागियों ने भागीदारी की । इस प्रतियोगिता में देव संस्कृति विवि के पुरुष वर्ग ने तृतीय व महिला वर्ग ने छटा स्थान प्राप्त किया ।

टीम मैनेजर डॉ. अमृत गुर्वेन्द्र व टीम कोच के रुप में डॉ. सुनील कुमार व डॉ. भावना श्रीवास्तव ने भागीदारी की ।
विवि के माननीय कुलाधिपति तथा श्रद्धेया शैल जीजी ने विजेता छात्रों को शुभकामनाएँ व आशीर्वाद प्रदान किया ।

The participants from the following countries have confirmed participation : Argentina, Brazil, Urguay,  Chile,  Peru, Colombia, Paraguay and Japan.
