Foreign guests from 9 nations arrived at DSVV

On 1st of March, foreign guests from 9 different nations arrived from Hindu Heritage Foundation at DSVV. The team of 40 members took a drive around DSVV and saw the practical aspect of Indian culture, yog, and spirituality. These members, who belonged to China, Japan, Poland, russia, Armenia, Ujbekistan, Kazakhstan, Laro, North and South Korea, are learning Hindi, too. The Pro-Vice Chancellor of DSVV, Dr. Chinmay Pandya, guided the team. He acquainted the group with the Indian culture, the Divine Culture, saying that our culture takes pride in the act of giving, which has the gesture of “Atithi Devo Bhav”, inherent in it. Whatever means and facility, knowledge and science we possess, is meant for the use of society and for the upliftment of the downtrodden.

Dr. Chinmay informed them about the various programs run by the All Wolrd Gayatri Parivar like Adarsh Gram Prabandhan (Ideal Village), Vriksha Ganaga Abhiyan (planting of trees and cleanliness of River Ganga), Baal Sanskaar Shaala (rituals concerning small children).

To bring about a significant change in today’s education system, the team observed the value based education system of DSVV. They rejoiced seeing the students of DSVV gaining Shiksha coupled with Vidya (education coupled with knowledge).
