Health Awareness Workshop concluded at DSVV

On 18 September, a one day workshop on “Health Awareness” was organized by the Center for Ayurvedic Studies of the Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya. Keeping the health problems of the female students in mind, a quiz and a problem solving program was conducted. The experts presented their pithy opinions on the list of problems that arise between 16 and 35 years of age and, when and for which of them should we go for check ups.  Dr. Manju Saini, who visited from the Department of Radiology of the Himalayan Institute, informed on the variety of solutions to the problems connected with the girl students. According to Dr. Saini, “Health Awareness” is the chief solution to avoiding illness. Information on “Health Awareness” should be shared with one another so that everyone remains conscious of the general health.

Dr. Alka Gupta, a pediatrician, who visited us, also informed us with variety of information. The organizer of the event, Dr. Vandana Shrivastava, assured of organizing such awareness program on regular intervals. Girl students, in large numbers, participated in the program. Dr. Monika Pandey, the Girls’ Hostel Superintendent, was also present in the program.
