Hardwar, March 05 । DSVV and International Centre for Cultural Studies(ICCS) came together and a Memorandum of Understanding was signed in this regard. Both organisations would work together in the field of cultural studies.
Dr. Chinmay Pandya, Director – School of Yog and Health, DSVV and Shyam Parande Head – ICCS, Weschester, U.S.A, both signed the MOU. Shyam Parande said,”This unison would give an oppurtunity for 500 foreigners to train themselves in Yog and Indian Culture”.
Dr.Chinmay Pandya added that this merger would facilitate to spread Kulpita, Yugrishi Pt. Shriram Sharma Acharya ji’s thoughts across seven seas.
At this juncture, DSVV’s Chancellor Dr.Pranav Pandya said,”Indian sages have already sown the seeds of Indian Culture in various corners of the world”.
Shantikunj and Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalya have been instrumental in reviving this great tradition and spread it across International borders.
U.S citizens would now get a chance to imbibe Yog and Ayurveda in the form of a proposed International Conference which was the outcome of this agreement.
The Conference has been titled as “Balancing the Universe” and would be held at Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalya and Shantikunj in March 2012. Shri Shyam Parande said, an elite group of over 400 individuals from diverse areas like Business, Academia, Medicine will participate in this conference.
Prior to this, many international organisations have been associated with Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalya. On this occasion, Atul Rawat from ICCS and Dr.S.P.Mishra, Vice Chancellor, DSVV were also present.
