Adding one more colour to its rainbow, Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidalaya has received an honor from International Council of Professional Therapists ICPT, London. This council has accepted Dev Sanskriti Viswavidalaya as an esteemed member of the council. With this membership, the staff and students would get the recognition in the field of mental health practices and academics.
ICPT is a professional organization, which gives registration to those excellent institutions in the disciplines of psychology, psychotherapy, counseling and hypnotherapy and are doing ethical and remarkable work on the field of mental health.
Sharing his happiness the Director of School of Yoga, Dr Chinmay Panday said that this membership would enhance the in depth information in the field of psychology and Counselling and our students would benefit a lot as they could easily become the member of ICPT.
Speaking on the present practices the Head of the Department, Prof. Hemadri Sao said that there are many schools of thought which are serving society in the field of mental health, but the contribution of Dev Sanskriti University is remarkable, with this membership we would increase opportunities world wide and our students could share their experiences internationally.
Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidalaya is working in the field of mental health with a clinic since 2004, and the sharp skills of the therapists have helped many mental patients. Dr SantoshViswakarma, Assistant Prof. Dept of Clinical Psychology, informed that council members are automatically licensed and can participate in case study and blog discussions too.
