On the occasion of the Indian Tourism Day on 25th of January, the Tourism Department of the Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya organized variety of programs at departmental level. The outlines of the programme were drawn by the Chief Coordinator of the Department, Dr. Arunesh Parashar. Dr. Parashar, on this day, explained the concept of responsibly tourism for sustainable tourism besides speaking on the development of domestic tourism. Making the opening of the programme, Dr Umakant Indoliya, the coordinator of the department suggested that the domestic tourism can be vastly improved by developing villages of India. The programme was divided into three phases. First phase consisted of lectures and photography contests. While the second phase was completed by way of Quiz. Presentations were held in the final phase and thereafter the conclusion of the programme. The Agast team won the battle of Quiz, while the Vyaas team was ranked first in the speech contest. The Bharadwaj team surpassed all in presentations.

Stage operations were handled by Vibha Negi, a tourism student. In making the programme a success, important roles were played by the teachers of the Tourism Department, Dr. Monika Pandey, Shri Avanendu Pandey, Shri Prasoon kumar, Shri Prakhar Singh Pal, Shri Ashish Pawar, Shri Pankaj Chandel, Shri Ajay Bharadwaj and others.
