Srijna- Earn while learn Scheme
Commencement:- on Basant Panchmi, February, 2008 by Honorable Chancellor sir near Anandmai Bhojnalaya (Mess)
Aim: Creativity, Entrepreneurship, and Health Awareness (Srijan, Swasthaya aur Swavalamban)
Objectives:
- To bring awareness regarding Entrepreneurship & provide Economical support to the students
- To make best out of waste
- To build up Creative Environment
Activities:
- Routine: Pragya Sweet, Greeting Cards, Eco friendly Bags, Cloth Repairing, Hand made Paper products
- Special: Rakhi Making, Croatia , Stitching, Making Friendship Bands, Diwali Diya
- Latest: making biscuits, Kala Chana and Tulsi Tea in Solar Cooker. Also various Pickles like Amla, Methi and Mirch are also available.
Workshops conducted on:
- Drawing, Fabric Painting
- Making Decorative Items, Candle making
- Flower Making
- Products of Handmade Paper
- Soft Toys
Remuneration: Rs.5 per hour given to the students who donate time regularly at Srijana.
Other Activities: To enhance Self Confidence and Positive attitude among Students, Sessions on Yoga, Pranic Healing and Reiki with Counseling are conducted as and when required.
Recent Development: Honesty Counter has been shifted. Timings are from 8:00 am till 7:00 pm.
Upcoming Products: New Hand Bags, Caps, T-Shirts are expected in the first week of March.
