Prof. Christopher Chappel, the Director of the Loyola Marymount University (LMU), USA visited the Dev Sanskriti University. Meeting the Pro Vice-Chancellor of DSVV, Dr. Chinmay Pandya, he talked on wide range of issues related to adopting health education and creating an awareness mission for it. Prof. Chappel received information on how to cease distorted life style and follow natural life style. He visited and closely watched the Centre for Complimentary and Alternative Therapies, Acupressure Park, Panchkarma and Naturopathy Centres of DSVV.
The Pro Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Pandya, suggested that it is only through education that the ideas of health awareness can be spread in many directions. An agreement was reached to run yoga courses in Loyola Marymount University so that the ideas on health awareness can be mutually exchanged. According to Prof. Chappel, Dev Sanskriti University is not just a centre for yoga education but also a research model of Ayurveda and Natural Remedial Sciences. It is in the atmosphere of DSVV that the ideas of health consciousness are intermingled. He entirely appreciated the bio-diversity of the university.
