Four students from the Uttarakhand state have been selected for the main Republic parade to be held on the Republic Day at Delhi. Like the last three years, this year too, two students from DSVV, Kamal Rani and Ritesh Kumar, have been selected for this great event. They will take part in the training sessions to be held from January 1 to January 25, and finally would participate on January 26 in the main Republic Day Parade at Delhi’s Rajpath.
Prior to this event, the above DSVV students demonstrated their excellent performance at Agra. They also demonstrated a number of creative programs on Uttarakhand Culture. Honorable Chancellor of the university, Dr. Pranav Pandya, congratulated the students and the program officers, coordinators and the entire team of National Service Scheme (NSS) for this great achievement. The Pro-Vice Chancellor, Dr. Chinmay Pandya, also conveyed his best wishes to the students and the entire NSS Team. According to the honorable Pro-Vice Chancellor, the achievement at the national level, consecutively for the fifth year in a row, has added glory to the Uttarakhand state. He further spoke that the excellent performance in the parade displays their excellent physical and mental efficiency. The atmosphere and the teachers of the University inspire everyone to be talented.
The NSS coordinator, Dr. Arunesh Parashar, said that this is a big achievement for the University. This is the result of the hard work of the students and their continuous participation in the parade practice sessions. The students were congratulated for this great achievement by the Program Coordinator / Program Officer of the National Service Scheme and the entire team.
