A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Divine Values School, Ecuador, South America and the Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya (DSVV). This is a step further by DSVV towards the expansion of Indian Culture. The MOU was jointly signed by Victor Rivero, the Director General of the Divine Values School, and Dr. Chinmay Pandya, the Pro-Vice Chancellor of DSVV. The understanding would encourage academic exchanges between the two Institutions besides encouraging the mutual exchange of students and teachers at various levels of program in Ayurveda, Yoga, Psychology, Vedic Science, technology and research, scientific and academic supporting programs.
On the occasion, Dr. Chinmay Pandya expressed that the contract would help in the expansion of various elements of Ayurveda, Yoga and Indian culture in South America and many other countries. He further said that this will not only facilitate the mutual exchange of experts, teachers, students of the academic sector, but will also help in the organization of seminars, conferences, training programs, symposiums, etc. in accordance with mutual cooperation and convenience. The Director General of the Divine Value School, Ecuador, Victor Rivero, said that it is a matter of great fortune that through the contract they would get deeper knowledge of Ayurveda, Yoga, Vedic Sciences and other related subjects. These subjects are not only taught in DSVV, but can also be witnessed in the practical lives of people living here. They were all overwhelmed with the divine atmosphere of the University. He expressed that the contract would provide them with better knowledge in the field of research.
Prior to this, the team from Divine Values School, Ecuador participated in the International Workshop organized on Ayurveda and Vedic Sciences. The workshop was conducted from 1st to 13th January, 2018, and introduced the South American team to the various subjects related to Ayurveda. The team also took advantage of the spiritual environment of DSVV by participating in regular yoga practice, yagya and meditation.
This understanding would help the Divine Values School, Ecuador, to regularly associate with the activities of DSVV, which in turn would help in regular spreading of the Indian Culture.
