The Orientation Program of the Dev Sanskriti University saw the participation of all the newly admitted students in the academic session of 2017-2018. Inaugurating the program, Dr. Chinmay Pandya, the Pro vice-Chancellor of the University, said if the first introduction is made through expressions then no introduction is further required. He said that the objective of the Orientation Program is to inspire the new students towards a purposeful and meaningful life. The only solution to every problem today is possible by the flow of the youth consciousness in the right direction.
In the 2-day program, students were required to receive basic intro about various features of the university and the amenities available for them. The schedule of orientation program mainly included Jagran, meditation, yagna, excursion, sadhna, video messages, welfare based facilities, etc. All the new entrants were provided with the information on health care facilities, self-help, Mess facility, student welfare, security, hostel, National Service Scheme, Cultural activities, life management, leave activities, training and placement, examination department, library, computer lab, accounting, sports, distance education, research, Srijana department etc. The information was provided by their relevant subject experts and head of departments. On the second day of the program, students received the valuable guidance from the Registrar of the University, Shri Sandeep Kumar. Describing about “life” he said that life is all about learning something new from this university.
At the conclusion of the program, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Shri Sharad Pardhy, welcoming the students explained the meaning of the term “New Admission” viz. to work with new positive stream of thoughts in collaboration with each other. The program was coordinated by Shri Saurabh Shrivastava while the dais operations were managed by Shri Ashish Kumar and Shri Ajay Bharadwaj. The entire program saw the presence of the dignitaries like Dr. Shiv Narayan Prasad, Shri Narendra Singh, Shri Radhey Shyam Soni, Dr. Arunesh Parashar, Shrimati Kaveri Bali, Shri Deep Singh, Dr. T. C. Sharma, Colonel Uday Mishra and others.
