“Rashtriya Seva Yojana Seva Ratna” Award to the Volunteers of NSS Unit

In a felicitation ceremony, the Governor of the Uttarakhand State, His Excellency Dr. Krishna Kant Pal awarded the coordinator, Dr. Arunesh Parashar, and the volunteers of the National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of the Dev Sanskriti Vishwavdyalaya (DSVV) and Shantikunj, with the “Rashtriya Seva Yojana Seva Ratna” Award for their outstanding performances in national-level programs. Kamal Rani and Ritesh Kumar, the volunteers who returned from the National Republic Day Parade, were also honored with a medal and a commendation letter for their special contributions. The Governor also congratulated Ms. Prachi Agarwal, who had been visiting to Palestine as a member of an International Delegation.

On this occasion, the State NSS Officer, Dr. Vinod Kumar, informed about various awareness programs of DSVV. Dr. Prashant Singh from UCOST and Dr. Vimmi Sachdeva Raman, the Director of the Youth Welfare Department, were also present in the program. Dr. Raman congratulated all the volunteers.

After returning from the felicitation ceremony, the NSS workers took blessings from the Honorable Chancellor of the University, Dr. Pranav Pandya. The Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr. Chinmay Pandya, conveyed his best wishes and congratulations to all the volunteers for taking part in social awareness programs and glorifying the name of the Uttarakhand state.
