The visiting team from Russia learnt the traditional tricks of Yoga

A team comprising of 12 members from Russia visited the Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya to learn the traditional tricks of Yoga. The team took special interest in the Naturopathy Centre of the Panchkarma Department, Acupressure, Pranic Healing, and other techniques. According to the team coordinator, Elia Savetsasof, few members of the team visited to learn particularly Pranic Healing and Yajna. Sharing her experiences she said that the team learnt a lot from the tour. In the coming days, until 20th March, the team would specially receive training in Yoga ad Pranic Healing. In addition to this, some of the members were also introduced to the methods of meditation. Some of them received initiation in the Gayatri Mantra. During a meeting with team members, the hon. Chancellor Dr. Pranav Pandya and Shradhheya Shail Jiji,  imparted their valuable guidance all the members. The members learnt the traditional nature of yoga on meeting with the Pro Vice-Chancellor of the university, Dr. Chinmay Pandya. Dr. Pandya, on the basis of Patanjali Yoga Sutras, satisfied their curiosities. Those who made important contributions to the team included Gelina, Reenma, Nyudmila, Tamara, etc. At the local level, the entire team is being coordinated by Dr. Gyaneshwar Mishra.
