Many creative programs were organized on 28th February, the event of National Science Day, in the Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya. The programs were organized in joint collaboration of the Computer Science Department of DSVV and USARC.
The Event was divided into two main phases. In the initial phase making scientific posters, essay competition and others were held, while in the second phase scientific plays, scientific presentations etc. were organized.
In all these competitions, Anshika Verma won the first prize in poster contest, Anamika Tiwari in essay contest, Satya Kumar in poem contest, while Swapn Chandel in Scientific writing topped their contests. Bhaskar and group in play contest and Anveshan Chauhan in scientific presentation were judged and awarded as best
Concluding the program, Dr. Chinmay Pandya, the Pro Vice-Chancellor of DSVV, remarked that all sides of life today are required to be seen through a scientific viewpoint. According to him various aspects of society and traditions can be very well explained through science. In today’s circumstances, science and spiritualism will have to adjust to each other and move ahead. With the digital revolution, the emotional power of the masses is also to be understood. According to the head of the computer science department, Dr. Abhay Saxena, today, in all areas of life, scientific vision is being utilized, the only necessity is to use it in proper sense..
133 students along with all the teachers from Computer Science department marked their presence in the program. Mrs. Rajeshwari Trivedi managed the dais operations.
