The Pro-Rector of the Vilnius University, Prof. Valdas Jaskunas, visited the Dev Sanskriti University (DSVV). Vilnius University (VU) is one of the oldest universities in Europe. During his visit, Prof. Jaskunas observed various departments of DSVV along with the Cowshed, Acupressure Park, the Mahakaal Temple, herbal garden, and various other places. The Director of International Relations of the Vilnius University, Ms. Smirmote, who accompanied Prof. Jaskunas, also met the Pro Vice-Chancellor of the University, Dr. Chinmay Pandya. They discussed on various aspects of E.U. project and on various research points to carry out project works on Indian Culture. VU and DSVV have a Memorandum of Understanding with each other. Both the universities will mutually support each other to enrich the quality of education and research in the areas of mutual interest. During the informal meeting, the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Pandya, said that, today, there is a great need to carry out researches in the area of Indo-Baltic culture and history.
Dev Sanskriti University has always been working to preserve the ancient system of education and initiation system. During this tour program, the members of the both the organization shared their views with each other and in this regard they mutually agreed on to carry out academic tours in the first phase.
