The growing corruption, destruction by nuclear weapon, global warming, starvation, drought and floods are the problems which is the outcome of a person’s own irresponsible behaviour. Yug Nirman Yojana and its 18 pledges for creating a new universal and ethical order is the solution for a new tomorrow. Sir William Jones has worked on indo European languages has appreciated Sanskrit as a perfect language of the world. UNESCO in its world congress on Vedic traditions has authorized Vedic chanting at India. He said basis of all the religion is spirituality and science with it would lead to progress.
Founder of community yoga Dharma,Rome the Bhai Hari Singh Khalsa thanked Gayatri Pariwar for giving them the opportunity to participate at this festival. He gave a detail note on the ‘talas’ which is the chakaras present in the body and one should try to inculcate spiritual practices to cleanse there ‘talas’.
Swami Satyamitranand Giri ji , founder of Samanvaya Pariwar threw light on the applied form of yoga. He gave the example that one can see a boat in water but no body could see water in a boat in the same way yoga is the practice which needs effort of everyday. Yoga is the oldest treasure of this country, every day we face so many problems in a day but a person who face these problems with patience is a yogi in real sense.
We have to be selfless in this field. Swami Vivekanand and Ramkrishna Paramhansa are gems of spirituality who have devoted their life selflessly for the society . Culture is the jewel of a person, Pt. Shriram Sharma has proved this with his life, and he too has faced hardships, was tough with himself but has simplified difficult rituals and practices for the common man.

He said yoga is not an exercise but is a strong tool which unites body and soul. He gave the example of a musical instrument sitar and said that in order to produce good music, musician has to tune the wires on its top in the same way person has to tune himself for the spiritual life.
Too much of jealousy hatred and attachment are barriers of yogic life should not be the part of the lifestyle, constant digging oneself would help to get rid of these vices. Excellence in action is Yoga and one who teaches and follow it should be able to spread its fragrance everywhere. He asked that do we really spread the message of Yoga.
Yoga is destroyer of all the miseries, and it is possible in a stable mind and body. And this could be finally achieved by ‘Tapa’, ‘Swadhyay’ and ‘Eshwar Pranidhan’ which is conservation of energy, adoption of good and pious thoughts, and finally believing in God as Swami Ramkrishna Paramhans believed that every soul is potentially divine.

This festival would help us to know how we could take the name of God.

He gave a very beautiful presentation on “the reason for meditation and its benefits”. He explained that karma is the root of all the miseries and that is why even a king gets sick, feels hungry or sad. He quoted the example of Mughal Emperor Shahjahan who was the king but he was not given food and was ill treated by his own son.
He was very much inspired by Pt. Shriram Sharma Acharya and his disciple Chancellor Dr Pranav Pandya who has followed his Gurudev. Focusing on a healthy lifestyle he said that one should always recite the name of God, no killing and harming others, no stealing, no illicit sex, no lying and no intoxications. He said that one should have right thinking, talking and action. Selfless service to mankind must be the motto, and help should be given to the needy. She said in future this institute would set a new order of Dharma and Peace. At India religion and mystic is open and societies are closed to traditional values, and on the contrary religion is closed in the west. As it was the Hindu king who constructed a church at Kerala. Swami Vivekanand has talked about the upliftment of humanity, and values and so this our fundamental duty to unite all on a single platform of spirituality.
Youth icon Dr. Chinmay Pandya, a disciple of Gurudev, Pt. Shriram Sharma Acharya described the presence of god in a beautiful manner. He narrated a story from Upnishads, about Shwetketu, who returned home after completing his education. His father tried to check that while studying did he developed ego. He asked his son about the presence God. Son was not able to answer it. Then, his father took a glass of water and dissolved sugar cube to it. It was not visible but the sweetness could be tasted. In the same way God is nearby, around us in the form of air or Prana, what matters is the tasting of sweetness.
Divinity is all about experience as we could experience that people from 15 countries and 5 continents, could not speak the same language but all knew the language of love and respect. The theme Yoga, culture and spirituality was chosen for the serious purpose. We all have to continuously work for refinement and upliftment of the self. And if we collectively do it divine culture would decent on earth. We have to remove the darkness of the self and lastly what matters is what we are living for and why we are united. He thanked all the staff members and the students who worked hard for this festival.
The manager of Shantikunj and a true life devotee for the Gurudev’s mission Shri Gauri Shanker Sharma ji shared his happiness by remembering Gurudev’s feelings on yoga, culture and spirituality. We have more comforts and techniques to get connected with the world in few minutes but we have become more self centered and selfish. Gurudev has laid down set of principles through which a person can complete a journey from manav to mahamanav. Body is a laboratory and through collective consciousness we could se the miracles in human behavior.
