A special workshop on New Education Policy for 3 days.

A three-day workshop on National Education Policy was organized at Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya. The main objective of this workshop was to increase the level of education and quality development by implementing the new education policy. The workshop was organized from the 6th to the 9th of April. Prof. Nitesh Purohit of IIIT Prayagraj was present as the chief guest.
Prof. Nitesh Purohit along with Pro Vice Chancellor of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya Dr. Chinmay Pandya Ji and Registrar Shri Baldau Dewangan Ji inaugurated the event by lighting the sacred lamp. During the three-day workshop, all the participants and dignitaries from various educational institutions focused on key points such as the Background and philosophy of the new education policy. Prof. Nitish Purohit said that the New Education policy has been prepared to keep in mind the holistic approach to the overall focus on the all-around development of the students.
This provides a choice for the students to study an optional course along with a main course. Along with this various incentives have been planned for other creativity like skill development courses, sports, etc. The NEP focuses on outcome-based goals.

It is mandatory to determine the outcome of each unit of the course, which will let the students develop a step where they can decide which skill or ability they will attain after reading the mentioned points. By following this process Higher Education students will be able to contribute to the development of the country by becoming skilled, subject experts, and civilized citizens. During this workshop, Prof. Nitesh Purohit efficiently answered the queries of the Faculty members, related to the National Education Policy.

The workshop was chaired by the Pro Vice Chancellor of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, who shared that this New Education Policy talks about carrying Indian Culture in its ideal and original traditions. He said this policy aims at expanding Indian Culture and awakening National Integrity amongst students.

Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya is implementing the new education policy from the current session 2023-2024. Accordingly, every department is working to create a new curriculum preparation program and course outcome as per the key points given by UGC. All the senior authorities, Deans, heads of the Departments, Faulty members, and teaching staff members are determined to frame the course programs as per the new education policy. All the faculty members and teaching staff were present in this workshop.
