An international conference on ‘Mental Health care through Spirituality, Ayurveda and Alternative therapies’ was organized on 9, 10, and 11 July 2022 at Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya. The conference was inaugurated by Dr. Chinmay Pandya, Pro Vice Chancellor of the University. More than 100 participants from about 19 states of India participated in this program. Prof. Dr. Urmila Rani Srivastava from Banaras Hindu University, Dr. Mahesh Bhatt, Senior Surgeon from Dehradun, Dr. Bijoy S. Raj, Ayurveda Physician from Major SD Singh PG Ayurvedic Medical College, and Hospital, Farrukhabad, Dr. Chirag Jaikishan Andharia, Naturopathy physician from Mehsana, Gujarat, Dr. Vivek Maheshwari Associate professor from Lakulish Yoga University, Ahmedabad, Prof. Dr. Prerna Puri from Rajasthan University and Mr. Nikhil S., a clinical psychologist from Pune participated as keynote speakers in this conference. Video lectures and online sessions of Prof Goda Denapiene, Consultant Gastroenterologist, University of Vilnius, Lithuania, Mr. Arnis Silins, International Institute of Indic Studies, Riga, Latvia, Vaidya Professor T. R. Shantala Priyadarshini, AYUSH Chair, Professor, University of Latvia and Dr. Ulrich Berk, Homa Psychotherapist, Germany were also conducted. Various experiential sessions of marma therapy by Dr. Alka Mishra, acupressure therapy by Dr. Amrit Lal Gurvendra, and hypnotherapy by Dr. R. P. Sharma, etc. were also held during the three-day conference. About 50 papers were presented at this conference. On the last day of the program, the closing ceremony was held under the chairmanship of Shri Sharad Pardhi, Vice Chancellor of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya. Dr. Piyush Trivedi, Dr. Vandana Srivastava, Dr. Santosh Vishwakarma, Dr. Amrit Lal Guruvendra, Dr. Rajeshwari Trivedi, and Dr. Aarti Kaivart, Shri Khagpati Meher, Shri Shanti Kumar Barik, etc. played important roles in organizing this conference.
