DSIJHS invites a diverse range of scholarly contributions, including:
1. Research Articles: Original studies presenting empirical findings or theoretical
advancements in Hindu studies.
2. Review Articles: Comprehensive analyses summarizing current knowledge and
developments in specific areas of Hindu philosophy, culture, or practices.
3. Conceptual Papers: Innovative discussions proposing new frameworks or
interpretations within the realm of Hindu studies.
4. Case Studies: Detailed examinations of particular instances, events, or practices that
shed light on broader aspects of Hindu traditions.
5. Book Reviews: Critical evaluations of recent publications relevant to Hindu scholarship.
6. Interviews and Dialogues: Conversations with eminent scholars, practitioners, or
thought leaders in the field of Hindu studies.
7. Opinions: Insightful essays offering perspectives on contemporary issues related to
Hinduism.

 

 

GUIDELINES

To maintain academic rigor and consistency, authors are requested to adhere to the following
guidelines:
● Originality: Submissions must be original works that have not been published
elsewhere.
● Formatting: Manuscripts should be prepared using the DSIJHS submission template,
ensuring clarity and coherence.
● Referencing Style: All citations and references should follow the Vancouver format, as
exemplified by DSIIJ. citeturn0search5
● Language: Manuscripts should be written in clear, concise, and scholarly English.
● Plagiarism: All submissions will undergo plagiarism checks to ensure originality.

 

 

PROCEDURE


The submission and publication process involves several stages:
1. Manuscript Preparation: Authors should prepare their manuscripts in accordance with
the provided guidelines.
2. Submission: Manuscripts should be submitted through the DSIJHS online submission
portal.
3. Peer Review: Each submission will undergo a double-blind peer review process to
ensure impartiality and academic integrity.
4. Revisions: Based on reviewer feedback, authors may be required to make necessary
revisions.
5. Publication Decision: The editorial board will make the final decision regarding
publication.

 

 

SUBMISSION


Authors are encouraged to submit their manuscripts via the DSIJHS Submission Portal.
Required documents include:
● Manuscript File: In Word or PDF format.
● Abstract: A concise summary of the research (maximum 250 words).
● Author Declaration: A statement confirming the originality of the work.
