Srijana & Gramprabandhan Activity
- Srijana was initiated on Basant Panchmi, February 2008 by H. H. Chancellor Sir
of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalya, Dr. Pranav Pandya Ji in the campus of DSVV. Its
aim is to invoke the Creativity, Entrepreneurship, and Health Awareness (Srijan,
Swasthaya aur Swavalamban) among the students. The objectives of Srijana are
as follows:- To bring awareness regarding Entrepreneurship & provide Economical
support to the students - To make best out of waste
- To make creative products which are eco-friendly yet useful for students
- To build up Creative Environment through workshops & training sessions
- To bring awareness regarding Entrepreneurship & provide Economical
- Activities – Various activities of creativity are conducted and promoted at Srijana such as
making Eco friendly Bags of Jute, Cloth, handmade paper, special Shoulder bags
for students etc. The students also create festive creations like Rakhi, Diwali
Diyas, Macrom items, handicrafts and consumable items like Candies and
Mouthfreshners. Specialized training is also provided for the same. Apart from
that, facilities of stitching & repairing of cloths of students are also provided
here. - Various Workshops: – Srijana, regularly conducts workshops on various skills such as Drawing, Fabric
Painting, Handicrafts, cooking etc. - Honesty Counter: – In order to promote self-regulated discipline amongst the students, an Honesty
Counter has been initiated since the inception of the University, which is now
looked after by Srijana. This unique concept of letting the students avail the
stationary items and other utility products themselves without monitoring is
promoting the innate virtue of honesty amongst the students. The counter that
opens from 09am to 06pm daily has a cash box where the students can deposit
the money for the price of the product they would choose to avail.
